Renren Inc. operates real name social networking Internet platform in the People’s Republic of China. Its platform enables its users to connect and communicate with each other, share information and user-generated content, play online games, listen to music, shop for deals and a range of other features and services. Its Renren Open Platform program allows users to access applications from third-party developers through an open application programming interface. Its Renren Connect program allows users to sign in and share information and content from over 2,000 Renren Connect partner Websites. In addition, to meet Chinese users’ needs and preferences for instant notification and real time communication, it has Renren Desktop client application. This application provides real time news feed updates while also facilitating instant messaging among its users. In October 2011, the Company acquired Wole Inc.
